The serie “sound and religious architecture” takes place in religious locations. The musician, mostly the organ player chooses the piece of music in terms of the location. My video in one shot is a simultaneous performance together with the organ player. The dance of the picture and sound melt into one rhythmn. “Synagoge Sound” takes place in Goerlitz Synagoge, which is no longer in use as a Jewish synagoge. The building it is the only not destroyed synagoge building in Germany. What I found as a performance partner in this case was the architecture, the pastense, the memory and the present sound of the building.
